Two Free directories to add your blog to - Bloggernity & Bloggapedia !!

I have been trying to find good (and free) blog directories to add my blog to.
And I came upon this list of five free directories -

I am trying to try jump-start my non-existent SEO efforts by adding my blog to these directories. I am curious to see if and how, they will work .

I have already added my blog on to IFB (Independent Fashion Bloggers) and you can see the nice badge is flashing on my blog. I am not too active on the forum there but I do go and check some new blogs occasionally and end up following a couple of them.


Some of these directories need a link back and some of them demand it openly, while some of them politely request it. I am quite happy to oblige, but the space to add more badges is limited, hence this post with the links.

Umm, they don't have zippers...at least not ones that I can see.

Simply divine. It helps that they are not platforms. Somehow much as I love platforms for cushioning the feet against such torturous heel heights, I feel,  this design probably would have looked clunky with platform soles.


For shoes like these, I am willing to undergo the torture !
But, do you think this almost mid-calf style would work well with the currently in-vogue midis ? I think not...

Angela Ahrendts, Burberry CEO, at World Retail Congress 2010, about boarding the "Digital Tsunami".

The unbeatable team of Angela and Christopher has transformed Burberry , my favorite fashion brand (even before the transformation), from " Charming old-fashioned, self-effacing British " to "Edgy , young and aggressively urbane Brit".

The best part - it seems like a natural evolution from the inside out, not just a hastily put on mask.

Burberry has come really far by retaining the parts of its heritage that still work well , while discarding the rest of the inessential baggage , not a mean task for a brand that old.

I would love to see an in-depth interview, where we see Angela and Christopher talk about this journey and how they worked it all out. If ever there was an example of great synergy between strategic and creative minds - this has to be it.
